Berlin 2092. The earth is a desert. During the day, it’s all sandstorms. At night, the polluted sky glares green. In a bunker the first two humans awake from a hundred years of cryostasis sleep. They shake their limbs, test their joints. They step in front of an altar, giving thanks for their awakening. They are the new generation. The central computer interrupts their devotions with an alarm: Initiate mission ‘Development’ immediately. Initiate mission ‘Development’ immediately. Initiate mission ‘Development’ immediately.
